Christmas festive is just around the corner therefore Morganfield's hosted a blogger party and also an introduction to their special edition Christmas menu, because I know my boyfriend love indulging in pork and ribs hence I brought him along with me then he fell in love with Morganfield's signature dish which is the sticky bones.

I am anticipating for Morganfield's candied bacon after tasting the Homemade Cinnamon Candied Bacon from my previous visit at Suntec which left me a deep impression of being the most unique and delicious bacon I ever tried, this day I get to try the Beer Candied Bacon which is made with the Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar beer instead of cinnamon as the beer is the secret recipes for this Christmas menu, both combination is great which left me in a dilemma. My favorite dish would be the Bourbon Marmalade Glazed Leg of Ham as it is very tender, the ham is also very huge which is good for serving of 12 person or more, a word that I will use to describe it will be "Butt cheek". The Pop Corn Pork from Basketful of Pork is also another favorite of mine one reason is because of the dipping sauce, another reason will be that it is still crunchy even after a hour and it taste better than popcorn chicken. I love the Hazelnut sticky bones, it is sweet, soft, savoury and juicy lastly it has soft bone which I really like. I am so going back for it! Sadly I am craving for it now and this is not the right timing to eat T.T Other than that they also have quite a few flavours selection of sticky bones, apart from Hazelnut one of the flavour from the Morgans Christmas feast is Cranberry, the platters also comes with ham, sausages and many more which is good for sharing. The more I say about it, the more I'm craving for it OMG I think you should bring your family and friends for a treat. Never see Rogue santa beer before further more it come in a 650ml bottle so I gave it a try, it is a nice crafted beer from USA, smooth and a little bit of bitterness in the end. Prefer to have it after an meal.Special menu will be valid from 10 November to 28 December 2014.
