Standing at 159cm I am carrying the Gaston Luga Backpack in Classic Black & Black at 28 x 42 x 14cm, 15L. I love a timeless design where I can wear often and also versatile at then same time suitable for all kinds of occasion. Have been using this bag for a week travelling to the gym and to do groceries shopping, the bag is so spacious and durable making it no problem carrying heavy load, it also features many compartment for easy sorting of belongings not forgetting the laptop compartment.
 | Here is one of the consideration I will take into while shopping for a bag regardless of carrying style. Backpack, handbag, shoulder bag, etc. A metallic feet, it provides extra protection from wear and tear hence, give my bag an extend of lifespan as I often place my bag onto uneven surface such as the ground, it also prevents the bag from getting dirty or stains when I am unaware of my surrounding. |
 | Bag strap is also another design I will particularly look into for a backpack, as I don't want to be portray as too "manly" with thick and spongy strap which also unsuitable for certain occasion. Gaston Luga made their strap look so elegant which is suitable for ladies to carry around. At the back of the bag also features a pocket, great for holding passport for easy access in the airport. For me I like to slot my phone there while wearing an earpiece when my outfit has no pocket. Unlike any other bag, this bag has a strong structure at the back and base where it will not affect the comfort of carry when placing object of weird shaped in the main compartment. The story of Gaston Luga and the minimalistic backpacks took its start during a trip to a new continent, where our founder Carl Sundqvist met an interesting Frenchman with an elegant and casual style. Gaston told Carl he believed a backpack is the optimal companion when discovering the world. Since he was a person keen of his style, he had put time and effort into finding something different from the regular school style.
Finally he found himself an elegant Louis Vuitton, to which he had several modifications made. Making it more personal, functional and unique. Inspired after the meeting, Carl decided a few months later to create his own backpack brand with classic elegant style and practical details.
