Places to visit this holiday

I am counting down to my school holidays next week and also planning for a staycation/getaway maybe, if I have sufficient time and money to spare. Else I will still continue to explore new, interesting and free places in Singapore.

Here are a few places that I would re-visit this holiday:

Located in MacRitchie Reservoir is a free-standing 250 meter long suspension bridge with breath taking view, I takes me 2 hour to reach the destination because I am taking photograph as I walk. This time if I have enough time I would like to trek over to the Jelutong Tower.

Cost: $0.00 but lots of sweat and energy
Opening hours: Weekdays: 9:00am to 5:00pm
 Weekends: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Closed on Mondays (except public holidays)

The Pinnacle@Duxton is the first 50-storey public housing project in Singapore with many unique features that set it apart from other HDB. The reason why I want to re-visit is to try out landscape shot again because I know I can do better, at the same time I want to try capturing the milky way.

Cost: $5 per person per entry
Opening hours: 6AM to 10PM daily

Turi Beach Resort is around 30 minute away from Singapore and located at the North-East part of Batam Island, travel by ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Singapore to Nongsa Ferry Terminal Batam to reach. Great for couples and water sports lover as a getaway.

Trick Eye Museum
Trick Eye Museum is one of Korea’s top museum, this June finally it is here in Singapore. Trick Eye is short for ‘Trick of the eye’, which refers to an art technique that turns two-dimensional paintings into three-dimensional images through the use of optical illusions. With that, 2D paintings on the museum walls, floors and ceilings appear to pop out of the surface and come to life. By the time I will be able to see myself levitating.

Cost: Adult - $25
Child/Senior - $20
Opening hours: 10AM to 9PM daily

River Safari Singapore

Jelutong tower
As I had mention above this is the Jelutong Tower that I wish to visit, it takes around approximately 30 to 40min walk from Ranger Station to reach. All I know is this tower is almost similar to the one at Pulau Ubin, no much information of this tower can be found online. Shall wait till my visit to find out more.

Cost: Sweat and Energy
Opening hours: Unknown

Montigo Resort
Just 30 minute ferry ride from Singapore, located away from the city area of Batam is Nongsa. Situated at the northeastern coast is Montigo Resort, all villas there are 3 level high and able to sleep up to 4 person with a private pool. Including many activities like water sport, village tracking, cycling tour and more. Not to worry about dinning, they also have a restaurant that serve fresh seafood and also a private in-villa dining or sky terrace BBQ, this way I can find more reason to do milky way shoot hehehe. Just by typing all these I am already excited to go on a trip to Montigo Resort.
