How the treatment is done:
- Gargle of mouth with mouth was to make sure no residue is stuck onto the teeth
- Mouth opener is placed to keep the mouth open throughout the process
- Liquid lined to protect the gum, liquid will turn solid after awhile
- Application of whitening gel onto teeth
- LED light will activate the whitening gel which would whiten and brighten teeth
1 session is 20 minute, I am doing 2 session therefore it will take about 40 minute for the whole process to be done. Countdown timer is shown on the screen hence I am able to know how long more does it take for the treatment to be done.
A bell is also given for me to ring, in case of any emergency but I don't think it is necessary because the staff have the tendency to check on me.
My Review
I can really say that treatment done at Lush Aesthetics is way more comfortable than treatment done at other places that I have been. Felt no discomfort at all and my saliva did not drip out of my mouth during the treatment and I am on a laying position in a private room where I doze off for awhile unlike treatment done at other places where I have to be seated in a open area having my saliva dripping non-stop which is so embarrassing.
Although light is used in the treatment but there is no heat involve in the procedure. However gums felt sensitive, saw some white spots and lips felt dry due to exposure to LED light (and stretching due to mouth opener maybe), hence I would recommend you to apply some lip balm with SPF for better protection, but the side effect will fade away gradually, most importantly is that visible result can be seen.
My before teeth shade was S30 (upper) and S32 (bottom),
visible result is shown after 2 session on the same day which transform my tooth into shade S16.
