GB Part 1

Talk of the week?

A public place where 10000 people visit in first 12 hours of opening in Singapore.

Here I am today at the newly open Garden by the Bay!

View from Dragonfly Bridge

How do I get there?
Bayfront MRT Station > Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre > Lions Bridge > Dragonfly Bridge > Garden by the Bay

Alternative way can be found: HERE

Chinese Garden, have to walk pass here to reach the 2 conservatories.

On my way to reach.....

Indian Garden

My motive here today is to visit two of their cooled conservatories and get up close with the exotic plant species. Why? You will know at the end of this post

Ticket I bought was $20 each for two conservatories at an local rate for adult, lucky there is a temporary counter selling ticket at local rate and I do not need to join in the long long queue.

Flower Dome
Wander amongst thousand-year-old olive trees and unusual Baobabs of the cool-dry Mediterranean and subtropical regions as you take in sights of the changing seasonal floral display.

Cloud Forest
Explore the highlands amidst orchids, pitcher plants and ferns from the cool-moist Tropical Montane region, complete with a 35-metre man-made mountain and waterfall.

There are so much to explore in this latest National Garden and this is the reason why I only visited the cooled conservatories first, half day is definitely not enough for me so shall visit their OCBC Skyway and outdoor garden another day as I spend most of the time inside taking pictures and another reason why I plan to visit the conservatories first is because there are queue there are admission fee and I can visit their outdoor garden any time from 5am to 2am daily as for people who don't have the chance to go in yet can view my blog post so that they know what is going on inside.

Other than the admission fee that most of you who already know I guess you would like to find out about the price for the dining right?
I dine in at one of their Casual Eateries called Verandah, they have Asian and Western main course all price above $10++ I spend around $80 just by eating there.
Not to worry if you are on budget, this is what I found online: You can find food ranging from $6-$15 at Supertree Dining. (I shall check it out on my next visit)

Not forgetting to mention, normally people will feel hot at a garden but then I'm feeling cold my whole journey there. Maybe is because I stayed in the cooled conservatories for too long and it was raining.

Find out more about their rate here if you are planning to visit.
