Thanks God It's Friday! Chilling at the bar is one of the things I would do at night. Last Friday was my 2nd time dining in at The Beacon, it is bar located in the heart of Marina featuring authentic Italian cuisine including pastas, paninis and hand-made skinny pizzas. What's attractive is that they are having DAILY 1-FOR-1 on all house pours and beer!! Other than that they also have daily deals, and tonight will be the Oyster Night.

The Drinks
What makes The Beacon special is that you can request the kind of flavours you prefer and the mixologist can do a cocktail especially just for you.
The Beacon Collin ($16.00++)
My favourite cocktail base is on Gin. Was recommended to this signature drinks in Elderflower flavour. Love this cocktail as it is not too sweet nor bitter coming in with a pinch of fizzy lemon and lime taste, great for the weather and my mood for the time cause it is sooo~ refreshing. Also available in Peach and Strawberry
Summer Fresh ($17.00Nett)
Not your typical Orange Vodka, this is also another signature cocktail from The Beacon. Give it a try and you will know how refreshing it is.
Skyy Berry ($16.00++)
A sweet cocktail is an all time favourite ladies drink. Don't you agree to that? This is a cocktail every ladies should try once in their lifetime. Kurant Vodka in crushed ice topped with meringue made from whipped egg whites and sugar. Even I myself can't resist licking and sucking the meringue!
The Food
Fresh Oyster Platter - 5 pieces ($5.00++)
Fresh oyster is expensive to buy. Just so you know Friday is Oyster Night, so how can you miss out this great deal that is happening only from 5:00PM to 9:00PM?! Be sure to reach there early cause most of the time it would be sold out around 8:00PM
Parma Ham Pizza ($20.00++)
Parma Ham is a famous Italy ham, this is a must try if you haven't tasted it before. They are made from the rear haunches of the pig by salting the pieces carefully so that the ham absorbs enough salt after the fat has been removed.
Prosciutto Funghi ($18.00++)
This is the most popular pizza sold in The Beacon made using the same meat as Parma Ham Pizza. Although I am not a mushroom lover I cannot lie that I like this pizza the most and how generous the topping is given for this pizza.
Captain Combo ($48.00++)
This dish is served in a combination of Chicken, Fish and Beef. Each and every kind of meat are handled and marinated individually giving out an unique taste. My favourite is dipping the fried fish with mustard sauce into the mayonnaise sauce. Yum yum~
The Band
What is drinking without music? The Beacon is full of excitement and entertainment with "The Vibes”, I bet you would keep coming back for the music. Not forgetting to mention, they take in song dedications too!
The Vibes consists of 5 interesting individuals- Raf Ali (Drums), Sasha (Vocals), Shah Ali (Keyword, Vocals), Faizal (Bassist, Vocals), and Khairul Afwan (Vocals)

The Place
Conveniently located next to the Esplanade MRT (CC3), I say this would be my next favourite hang out places to go. With all these good food and entertainment, drinking with friends at will never be the same.
P.S Pictures were all taken after midnight as The Beacon is very packed during the early hours.
