Thai Airway, Bangkok Loft Inn, Asiatique

Hi ya! On my previous trip to Bangkok I have been visiting places of interest and theme park but for this trip it is going to be a shopping spree for my boyfriend and I, we will be staying in Bangkok for 10 days in two different hotels and also visiting another province travelling as a couple.

Thai Airway

Was intended to book our flight with FlyScoot as I wanted to try their airline so much because of the scootitude characteristic they have but Thai Airway came out in Deal.com.sg and price was quite reasonable so we bought our ticket from there, it's ok because there will always be chance for me to fly with FlyScoot.

Fish Boiled Rice
A thai rice soup dish mixed with slices snapper garnished with tung chai and coriander leaves.
(unsure if this is the correct name and description of this set meal, info from thaiairways.com)

Chinese Roast Duck with Yellow Noodles
This is a Chinese dish of duck, roasted Chinese style, served with yellow noodles, Chinese choy-sum (pak kwang tung) and soy sauce with sliced chilli.
I prefer this set than the fish one's and I love the raw salmon that was served together.

We reach Bangkok around 6:15pm. The hotel we will be staying for the first few night provides hotel transfer by a taxi, upon arrival their staff will be waiting for us at the gate to fetch us.

Bangkok Loft Inn

This was a budget hotel that was booked from Agoda

What's great about Bangkok Loft Inn:
Fast check-in and check-out
Staff have great english language skill, friendly and they are attentive
Walking distance to BTS and Quiet surroundings
Many night street stall along the road
Hotel directly at main road
Free Wi-Fi (only 1 user access per room)

Room type we are staying in is Superior

Room are clean, comfortable and nicely designed

Bathroom is quite large and has everything we need

My ratings:
Hotel Condition/Cleanliness - 5/5
Location - 5/5
Room Comfort/Standard - 5/5
Staff Performance - 5/5
Value for Money - 5/5

This hotel is most recommended to my friends and readers, I will definitely stay here again.

After leaving our luggages in the hotel we got changed and off we go to our first shopping destination!

It's my first time taking BTS in Bangkok because for my previous trip I am mostly travelling by a chartered van

This is how the interior of a BTS look like

The standard ticket the need to be bought in order to take the BTS, method of using is like the old way of taking Singapore MRT.

Asiatique The Riverfront

First place we are going to visit is Asiatique, it is a night mall that open from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am daily

How we got there:
Take BTS to Saphan Taksin (S6) and walk to Sathorn pier to take Asiatique's service boat

It stated that we need to pay for the boat ride but it was free of charge

Weather was very cold at night in Bangkok during this month especially at the river side.

Stores over here sells high fashion but the floor plan over here is quite messy.

A must take photo when you are at Asiatique

Although we do not have time to take the ferries wheel we had bought quite a lot of stuffs within an hour. We will come back next time for the ferries wheel because we only had around 2 hour to spend here before all the shops closes.

Later we had our supper at the nearby street stall before heading back to the hotel for a sleep
