Morganfield's Food Review

Morganfield's is specialize in their barbecue pork ribs. Other than ribs they also serve steaks, chops, seafood and poultry. Having passing by their new outlet last week at Suntec City I did not dine in because there are so much to choose from their menu and I am afraid that it will not be filling so I gave it a pass as I am very hungry that time. This week I am honor to be invited to their food tasting event at Suntec City.

Homemade Cinnamon Candied Bacon ($8.90)

This is one good starter / appetizers that will be served to all guest upon arrival. They call this the ang-mo bak kwa (caucasian BBQ pork). I love this so much even more than the traditional Chinese ones as I don't even eat them during Chinese New Year but I would definitely go back Morganfield's for this. Their bacon is so crispy with a hint of sweet cinnamon taste, I taste so good especially at the last mouth that makes me yearn for more. Must-try!

Sharing Platters

Choice of any 3 half Slabs signature Sticky Bones flavors (Hickory BBQ, Tuscan Baked Spicy, Smoked Peppercorn or Garlic BBQ) severed with Grilled Sausages, Garden Salad, Grilled Corn on Cob, Corn Bread and French Fries. Sharing platters are recommended for 3 to 4 person!

Morgan's Rib Sampler ($119.90)

Mini apron is also provided for messy eater like me, hahaha

Their rib is so tenderlicious, but I only tasted one slice of each flavors portioned by bones and I am already full before even finishing it. My favorite among the three flavors I have tried will be the Hockory BBQ, for people that prefer something more flavorful can go for the Spicy Asian BBQ.

FYI. Soft bone can also be found (my boyfriend love soft bone, sadly he couldn't make it that day but I will definitely bring him over someday to try out their ribs).

My Review

After this food tasting event I already know what to order and what to recommend if you were to ask. The next time if I were to go back again a few must-order dish for me would be the Homemade Cinnamon Candied Bacon and their dessert however, the dessert are too sweet for me to finish but I would still order it because they taste so good. For the ribs although Hickory BBQ is my favourite but I would also wish to try their Garlic BBQ Spare Ribs as I have a fetish for garlic(and onions) before making my final decision for their ribs.

Locate wise is also very accessible. Right out from Promenade MRT exit C you will be able to spot Morganfield's. Great for chilling with friends for some beers and snacks before going home or heading elsewhere.
