Bifesta Makeup Cleansing Sheets

Monday, August 26, 2013
While I was stocking up my skin care I came across this product that can Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise at the same time with just one wipe so I decided to try it out. Never thought that I would blog about this product but after one wipe I decided that I have to share this.

Bifesta Makeup Cleansing Sheets (Moist)

Lid that are not secure enough would cause the sheets to be dry up. I somehow prefer this lid than those stick on ones, this kind of lid is more secure and would retain the moisture of the cleansing wipe.

Sheet facts

I must say this product is great to bring along for swimming and camping as I always spend a lot of time on skin care.

Packaging on shelf

Bought this from Watson at $15.90 contain 47 sheets

Available in Normal to Dry skin (contain Ceramide-like that moisturises skin)
and Combination to Oily skin (contain Witch Hazel that will minimize the pores)

So far this is the best cleansing wipe I have ever tried.

Batam Trip 2

Day 1

One month later during school term we bought a ticket to batam again! This time we went there for 2 days and stayed in the city area.

The ferry we took this time is Sindo Ferry which will depart from Harbourfront Ferry Terminal to Batam City Ferry Terminal.

I was procrastinating and we missed our ferry, we then had to pay another sum of money to take the next ferry that were schedule on that day.

There is a slight drizzle when we are about to leave Singapore

Upon reaching Batam City Ferry Terminal after clearing the custom we were picked up by a guy sending us to join the group tour because we were late.

Our first stop is to Sawadika located at Nagoya for foot reflexology, for the space design I still prefer the one we visited on our previous trip. If I didn't remember wrongly we were charged $10sgd per person for foot reflexology at Sawadika.

After Sawadika we headed to Golden Prawn for lunch which were also part of our tour. Not forgetting to mention, there is a Bird Nest shop located in Golden Prawn, you can ordered Bird Nest shoup and enjoy it with your meal at Golden Prawn.

Were bought to Golden Factory Outlet after lunch, this store sells authentic Polo Ralph Lauren product much cheaper than Singapore. They carry other brand like A&F, Hollister, SuperDry etc too but unsure of it authenticity so did not make any purchase.

In the bus on our way to the next location~

Reached a home based factory selling kueh lapis.

We bought a half normal kueh lapis sharing another half with one of the aunty who were on the same tour as us.

When on the road during red traffic we see some beggar walking around asking for money, some are still healthy and able to walk while some have sickness which are unable to work.

Next stop is the Chocolate House

They carry many different brands of chocolate

Chocolate House was the last stop for our tour, were being send back to our hotel afterwards and we are own our own.

Had our dinner at Gadeno New York Pizza & Steak, what I can say is their service is not to my expectation. I am dead hungry and they too so long to serve us, hmpf!

I don't really like tomato base spaghetti because most that I have tried is awful, I ordered this because of the salmon and it did impress me. Noodles is soft and sauce is just right, thumbs up for them!

Avocado juice is a common drink in Batam, I can see it almost everywhere and I love it~

When for a little shopping after that, we walked the whole Batam City Square mall and I only bought a top. Then ordered room service at night because my baby boy is hungry.

Day 2

Good morning people! Today is our last and 2nd day in Batam, gonna check out at noon and head back to Singapore.

This is the view from our hotel

Forget to mention that we are staying at The BCC Hotel & Residence, it is just a few minute walk to Batam City Square. During this trip we really save a lot of money on transportation.

Had our buffet breakfast in the hotel, this is the porridge I custom make for myself.

After check-out before coming back to Singapore I shop a little more at Batam City Square, today I bought more clothing because of the left over cash. Batam City Square is like the Bugis street/Far east plaza in Singapore, they have a supermarket there too.

From there we took a taxi to Batam City Ferry Terminal which cost us 60,000Rp the driver said it was their standard fixed price, the trip take around 15min.

Have you read the post on my beach getaway at Batam Turi Beach?
All pictures are taken by phone as I did not bring my camera along with me.

Batam Trip

Day 1

Had our very first get away during the June term break, it was our first visit to Batam. We stayed at Turi Beach Resort for 3 days 2 nights.

Turi Beach Resort was around 30 minute away from Singapore and located at the North-East part of Batam Island, we took Wavemaster ferry which departed from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Singapore and arrive at Nongsa Ferry Terminal Batam.

Upon reaching Nongsa Ferry Terminal Batam we board onto a bus which transfer us to Turi Beach Resort.

We've got a beautiful room which I did not manage to get a picture of it, right after check-in we went out for shopping. We booked a car which cost 450,000Rp from afternoon to night. The driver bring us to some of the the popular shopping mall located in Batam such as Batam Mega Mall, Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre and Batam City Square. Did not have enough time to shop at Batam City Square because most of the shop close at 9pm. Other than that we had our 1hour(or 1hour30min, I have forgotten) Full Body Indothai Massage at Nagoya hill that cost us 220,000Rp each which is less than $30sgd, totally worth it!

Had our dinner at Golden Prawn, we spend around 400,000Rp+ on food. Ordered some crabs, fishes and prawns, ways of cooking the dish and selection of seafood are mainly chosen by us. If you are planning to visit here do remember to bring a incest repellent with you else you would be prey for the fellow mosquito.

Day 2

Balcony with beach facing view

Planned to do water sports this day but we woke up with a rainy weather and when the rain has stopped it is already too late for the water activities to be carry out so instead we went for another massage session, this time we done a full body oil massage located in the resort we are staying.

This evening we booked a car to bring us out for dinner, charges was the same 450,000Rp from evening till night. As I said Turi Beach is at the North-East part of Batam Island that's why we need to book the car for such a long timing. 1 hour+ is needed to travel thru and fro from Turi Beach to the City.

I was craving for Japanese food so the driver bring us to a place called "Kazu Restaurant" it was one of the high end Japanese Restaurant in Batam located at Nagoya Hill. Our dinning area is a private tatami room and we spend over $100sgd on that meal, the food was so-so only and price written on menu is in Singapore dollar, just imagine if we did not have enough cash with us.

Day 3

Thinking to do water sports this morning but plan almost went wrong! Weather was great today but because of low tide the timing to start water sports is very near to our check-out time.

Took a stroll along the board walk after we had our breakfast while waiting for the time to past.

While walking on the beach we spot something EWWWWW!

An octopus on the shore!!!

Sadly I only bring my prime lens out else I could get a better picture of it.

We walked on the rocks and spotted many shell on it

Last but not least before leaving the resort we manage to play the water sports, we played Jet skiing and Parasailing but didn't manage to take pictures during the activity. Rates of recreational facilities can be found here.

Accomodation, 2 way ferry, land transfer and 60min massage in the resort are a deal bought from groupon. I hope this post will help 1st timer who are choosing Batam or Turi Beach Resort as their travelling location.

Burberry - Nova Small Nickie Tote

Thursday, August 1, 2013
Burberry was established in 1856 when Thomas Burberry, a former draper's apprentice, opened his own store in southeast England. By launching its first logo in 1900 and registering the signature check pattern as a trademark in 1920, Burberry evinced the world that it understood the principles of brand building and equity.

Burberry has discontinued the supernova check pattern. Since I already have a supernova belt and wallet I decided to let this go as I have too much bags and don't use this bag often. If you love the nova check, stock up or grab this now! You might not see it ever again.
