Ripley's Believe It or Not!

Today we are getting out of Bangkok to the World of Entertainment at Pattaya! There are many ways to get to Pattaya by road, however we are going there by van which is quite a unreliable but fast option and will be coming back by bus.

Van services can be found at BTS Victory Monument, cost per person to Pattaya is 100 Baht

Why do I say that it is unreliable is because they do things without us knowing and they do not have a proper system of handling things. When we reach the ticketing counter a random guy approach us and asked us where is our destination and then they will collect the money from us for the ticket and we were told to wait "there" which is a no queue waiting area for the van to pick us up, they didn't even let us know the route that they are going and we have no idea of where the van is going to stop at.

Luckily the last stop is near the place where we want to go which is Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, upon arrival we can easily spot the hot air balloon which is one of the attraction at the museum, just walk towards it and there we are at the Royal Garden Plaza.

Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum (590 Baht)

See real thing you can't see anywhere else. Almost similar to the one at Genting Indoor Theme Park.

Louis Tussaud's Wax Work (590 Baht)

Stand among the famous, wax work you can find here are categories into: Pop star, Chamber of secrets, British royalty, Political and humanitarian leaders, Horror den, Batman and friends, Celebrities in character

While in the Chambers of secret...

Ripley's Haunted Adventure (590 Baht)

This is the place where nightmare comes to life, we skipped this attraction because I was afraid. In short, this is a haunted house.

The Vault (290 Baht)

Laser Maze Challenge is a timed event, we enter a mysterious room and as we cross the starting point, the Laser Maze pops to life and the room ahead of us will be filled with brilliant green lasers radiating from the walls, we will have to find our ways to the opposite side of the wall without touching the laser then later move to another side of the wall to get an object to complete our mission.

Below is a video that was taken accidentally:

Ripley's Scream in the Dark (390 Baht)

Shoot! Scream! Score! Not as scary and fun as I thought, but it will be a great ride for children.

Below is also a video that is taken unknowingly:

Ripley's Infinity Maze (590 Baht)

In my own opinion this is the best among all the other attraction where we have been to sadly no camera is allowed inside. Upon entering we than will be provided with a pair of shoe cover and gloves in-case we dirty their compound, when we are ready to go just walk towards the mirrored door push it and we are in. When I was first step inside I was afraid because it was all dark but at some area there will be lights and we need to find ways to get out of the maze. Great for all ages.

The main attraction of the day was suppose to be the Ripley's Sky Rider(980 baht) which is the hot air balloon, however due to the windy weather that ride was close.

Raj Indian Restaurant

After we are done having fun at Ripley's Believe It or Not museum we decided to have a meal here before we head back to Bangkok however most of the food outlet there has close and we chance upon Raj Indian Restaurant. It has been a long time since I did not have indian food so why not? And we had our dinner here.

Butter Chicken, Cheese Naan and Garlic Naan

Tandoori Prawn

Other than this we also ordered Chicken Korma which sum up a total amount of estimate 1,400 baht(approx. $56)

Last but not least here are my buys from Pattaya Wacoal, because Wacoal outlet in Thailand are selling their lingeries much cheaper than Singapore so I help my mum and friend to buy back some too.
